Mission and Organization
General: Founded in 1872 as a land grant college under authority of the Morrill Land Grant
Act, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University continues to provide the military training
through the Corps of Cadets. And the Corps has been producing alcoholics ever since. Just like the military academies and VMI, the cadets takes refuge from the monster in the form of alcohol, consuming massive amounts of it downtown in Blacksburg.
Vision: The vision of this site is to provide cadets with rules and regulations, so that cadets remain safe, classy, and full of alcohol....now more than ever.
Regulations
ARTICLE 1: Alcohol Consumption
A Cadet shall never refuse free alcohol, nor tolerate those who do
ARTICLE 1.1
A Cadet shall always finish his/her own drink, and may not nurse a drink (standard alcohol serving) longer than 20 minute, unless said Cadet is completely hammered
ARTICLE 2: Dress Code
A Cadet shall wear his/her class ring downtown at all times. If the ring is taken off at any time, the person who picks it up has the right to drop it in the offender's drink, forcing them to chug the rest. A cadet who does not wear his or her class ring downtown is guilty of a Tier Three Offense
ARTICLE 2.1
A cadet shall never wear anything Corps related downtown, including but not limited to Corps belts, shoes, or boots. This constitutes a Tier Three Offense
EXCEPTION: In case of inclement weather, a dedicated cadet may wear boots to trek downtown
ARTICLE 2.2
Cadets must dress like a classy civilian while downtown. No looking like garbage
ARTICLE 3: Spirit of the Corps
No Corps bussiness my be spoken of downtown, unless it is in the Esprit'de FTC
ARTICLE 3.1
Uttering Hoo-ah, Deuce-Deuce, Sixpack, or any other lame battle cries shall be punished with a Tier Two Offense
ARTICLE 4: Battle Buds
A Cadet shall not ditch his/her battle bud, unless that battle bud has a chance of hooking up (greater than 75% chance). Said bud receiving the action shall be responsible for finding the lone Cadet a new battle bud, or a girl/boy or equal attractiveness
ARTICLE 4.1
The soberest member of a group shall be responsible for making sure everyone in the group makes it into their respective beds. No snuggling with freshman allowed
ARTICLE 4.2
A Cadet may not take shots or chug alcohol in order to not be the soberest one and shirk his/her responsibilities
ARTICLE 4.3
A Cadet has an obligation to warn his fellow cadets if they loose track of time, so that a cadet does not accidently miss the 2am swipe time.
ARTICLE 5: Downtown Conduct
A Cadet shall no use PT, academic tests, or formal inspections as an excuse not to drink
EXCEPTION: An exception may be made for a Cadet who has a PT test within two days, or a midterm/final within 36 hours.
ARTICLE 5.1
A Cadet shall place his buds before him/herself. This means grenade jumping, and steering a bud clear of bad life choices, including possible STDs
ARTICLE 5.2
The laws of dibs shall be respected

ARTICLE 6: General Regulations
A Cadet shall drink at least one drink from every bar downtown in Blacksburg before graduation. No exceptions
ARTICLE 6.1
Cadet of legal age shall not be 100% sober during away Hokie football games, unless required by law or work. In addition, all Cadets must watch at least one quarter of the game
